Your Responsibilities as a Patient
Patients have responsibilities to use the services available in an appropriate manner.
- Please try to arrive on time for your appointment. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please inform the surgery in good time.
- If you move house or change your telephone number, please inform us.
Change My Details Online - Treat all of our Practice staff in a courteous manner.
- Use emergency services responsibly. The out-of-hours service is NOT for routine care.
- Take care with medicines. They are for one person only and should not be shared. Take any unwanted medicines to the local chemist for safe disposal.
Abusive & Violent Behaviour
The Practice has a ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy with regards to abusive and violent behaviour towards it’s Doctors and staff, whereby permanent removal from the Practice could well be invoked. Patients guilty of verbal or physical abuse will be asked to leave the premises and, if necessary, the police will be called.
