Appointments & Home Visits

We offer a flexible range of appointment times for both our Doctors and Practice Nurse. Our aim is to enable patients to obtain an appointment within 48 hours. We would ask you to ring as early as possible in the morning to book your appointment.
When you arrive at the surgery for your appointment, please make sure you notify the receptionist.
For telephone advice from the Doctor or Practice Nurse, please telephone the surgery. If the Doctor or Practice Nurse are consulting, you may be asked to call back later.

Repeat Prescriptions

There are several ways to obtain your repeat prescription. In person, by placing your repeat prescription slip into the box provided near the Reception desk. By post, including a stamped addressed envelope. Online, using our secure website repeat prescription form.
We no longer accept prescription requests by telephone. The Surgery switchboard is usually quite busy so it is very important not to ‘block’ the phone lines with prescription requests in case of a serious emergency.
A period of 24 to 48 hours notice is required for any repeat prescription to be issued.

Out of Hours

When the surgery is closed, you can call 111 for the Out of Hours services.

Advice is also available from NHS Direct Wales, 24 hours a day, by telephoning 0845 46 47 or by visiting their website.
In the case of a genuine medical emergency, dial 999 and request an ambulance.
